Produce and Feature in Automotive Related Videos

Destination Auto Group is looking for a talented Videographer / Video Editor / Actor who can provide assistance in various production and post-production content for our YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook accounts and advertising. This position would be on a contract/per video basis and so would be ideal for a freelancer or vlogger. Our star candidate should have a great camera presence and the ability to engage an audience through video. They should have relevant training or experience in filming, editing and producing videos; possess a strong understanding of storytelling, filmmaking, and have the ability to finish projects under hard deadlines. Samples of what we're looking for are here: [login to view URL] What you’ll be doing: • Working closely with the Marketing Department to ensure that all projects are delivered on-time. • Develop and maintain comprehensive project production and post-production. • Capture and edit video content featuring yourself or certain Destination Auto Group associates. • Trim footage segments and put together sequences. • Input music, dialogues, graphics, and effects. • Implement new ideas that align with vision of Marketing strategies. Position Requirements: • Minimum three (3) years of recent related experience in digital media, including strong writing/editing, social media, photography, and video production skills.. • Additional specialized training in video production or similar training, required. • A general understanding of creating videos for digital advertising i.e. maximizing watch time, reducing ad skips. • Experience using, and access to professional video editing software (Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro X) • Clear spoken voice with English language fluency • Access to necessary camera, audio and lighting equipment • Automotive knowledge and experience is a plus! • Demonstrate social media understanding (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.). • Possession of a valid B.C. Driver’s License with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle of your own.
