Virtual Reality tour for Oculus Rift - Unity Engine

So this is a bit of a strange one, but let's give it a go.
I am building a physical flight simulator to offer synthetic flight experinces for customers. At other simulators, the customer will be met by the instructor who will explain the basic controls of the aircraft for around 30 minutes in a classroom before they go into the simulator.
I have been using X Plane 11 with my Oculus Rift VR headset and it is fantastic, feels like you are in the real thing. It is not tactile enough to use as an effective simulator but would make an excellent video introduction.
I am looking to make a 20 to 30-minute video tour of the cockpit in virtual reality. The customer would put on the headset and be able to look around the cockpit (not move, just look around). There would be a narrator talking over the top (I will provide the voice-over). As they talk, the part of the cockpit they are describing should glow red.
You can use the X Plane 11 system / models and just adapt it.
Or, import the model into an engine like Unity and make from scratch.
What do you guys think? A good project for the right person. I cant pay a fortune as this is a small startup company. However, there will be ongoing work in the future.
