HTML5/Flash Animator required for Australian education website

Red Apple Education is one of the leading providers of online education in Australia. Our education website Skwirk is used in schools nationwide with a combined enrollment of over 200,000 students. With the launch of our updated site we are seeking an animator to help us create new and exciting resources for students and teachers accessing the Primary section of the site. You will be working with a large library of existing character models, create vibrant and engaging 1-3 minute animations based on scripts developed by qualified Australian educators. ABOUT YOU You will be able to create completed 2D animations using both existing characters and developing new ones that maintain our unique visual identity. Skills in HTML5 are a must as content will be viewed across a variety of devices and operating systems. The final animations will also involve voice-overs so the ability to include synched audio is also essential. You will be able to create work within tight deadlines and maintain open channels of communication. Per-hour salary will be based on skills and prior experience. As we also have a large library of Flash animations extra work will be available converting these to HTML5 for someone with a strong working knowledge of earlier versions of Flash - this will be paid on a per-animation-converted basis. Additionally, all applicants will be given 12 months free access to the Skwirk website, valued at up to $220 - this may be kept for personal use or gifted to a teacher or parent you know.
