Introductory User Manual for Automated Catalog Publishing System
$100-500 USD
Paid on delivery
We are looking for someone to develop a user manual for our web-based automated catalog publishing system, called Catalog-on-Demand?"?. There are approximately 10 screens to be documented, plus probably about 20 or 30 output samples where you will call out the feature being discussed (e.g., here is an example of how a custom part number will appear in the catalog). We will expect to spend about 3-4 hours on the phone (probably in 2 sessions) with you describing the functionality of the system. You will also have your own login so that you can try out different features and take screen shots. You will therefore need access to a high-speed Internet connection. We have no objection to calling an overseas number for the phone discussion.
The objective of this project is to create a basic user manual that is well-written and contains plenty of screenshots. We are NOT asking you to write about the many tangential and/or advanced topics regarding this tool. However, if your work is good, we will very likely contract with you to write numerous additional sections on more advanced topics. This introductory manual probably represents about 10% of the documentation that needs to be developed for the full suite of tools. We strongly prefer a native English speaker for this project.
