Retail POS Project Descrition: Background: POS project is to be developed in the way to suit demands of retail business, by providing simple, innovative and cost effective solution. Audience(Customers) of POS system: the system will be proposed to customers who are operating in retail and wholesale business with one or many retail shops and warehouses. POS system should be designed in the manner that it will not be requiring more than 1 hour of training to the new POS operators and not more than 3 hours of training to the Administrators/Supervisors users who will be responsible to maintain data entry and daily reports. Thus designing simple and intuitive GUI is essential to meet this criteria. General requirements to the POS System Development Should Support: 1. Ability to restrict the usage of software to non activated installations. 19. Remotely accessible back office system. 20. Easy to use POS and back office. 21.
