Hi, do you really need ".exe" (executable) file format for automation ? it could be simpy done through a batch or shell script, some executable files are considered as virus by some anti-virus program, if your executable does not have proper info and this might lead to either it being quarantine or you have to provide special authorization for it to run, that is not a problem with script, besides if you need to do changes you cannot provide the ".exe" (executable) file to anyone to edit or modify, you need to provide the code files which generated the ".exe" (executable) file, where as batch files are simple, you can have single batch file for all steps or break down the process and have different batch files for different steps.
