Get older C/C++ project (Seeks) to compile on Ubuntu 16.04

There is a bit dated C/C++ project called "Seeks" ([login to view URL]) "Seeks is a decentralized p2p websearch and collaborative tool." The project us now not maintained and has not been utilized for a while now. I am looking for a C/C++ developer that can bring the project up to date so that everything will compile as it once did on an Ubuntu 16.04 (64x) Linux machine. I am looking for someone who can update whatever is needed to enable to software to compile and run as it should. On a side note, I was able to compile it myself, but the linking had some troubles in some of the plugins which make me suspect that it use to compile with some older libraries and may be out of sync with newer ones. The deliverables will be project sources that will compile and run on my Ubuntu 16.04 system along with the information on what version libraries (dependencies) need to be installed. I want to be able to get a source ball from you that will compile and run all of the code. This project is about updating the project to a compilable and runable state.
