An Embedded VB6 Licensing Application for Key generation

I need a key generating program with which I can license a VB6 project. The project will use the MAC Address of a network interface + HDD Serial Number. With these 2 an Ash code can be generated with which the license key can be generated. The key generator should be able to decypt the MAC Address of the NIC and the HDD Serial number when the Ash code is entered into it before the license key is generated. For this task I need both the generator and the client end that authenticates the key. This task should be easily understtod by someone who has undergone the task before in VB6. The codes should be well commented with no 3rd party dependency files
