C++ Developer

My experience in C++ and media file output in will enable me to complete this project quickly. A personal project of mine was to create a compiler which creates a program from a WAV file, this was accomplished by learning the WAV file format to be able to correctly extract the samples from the file and convert them into an instruction set that then would be turned into machine code for an EXE. This project was written in C and began my interest in media file formats. Project repository: [login to view URL] For an example of my experience in C++, I have made a program which allows the user to pause Directx9 based games every frame. This was made by creating code that searches for a specific block of code in the target game, then a processor breakpoint is set in this area, when the game executes the code with the breakpoint it will pause, the user may then instruct the program to continue when they desire. This project involved heavy use of Windows specific functions to externally interact with the target game. I have entered a completion time of 12 days but I understand a bug which is causing a crash should be fixed as fast as possible and would endeavour to do so. I have begun reading AAF format specification in case I am chosen for this project. Thank you for your time.

Hi guys, is AAF in your case the "Advanced Authoring Format" or anything else? What type of media do you mostly work with then? Also, do you have the source code of your current application and samples of the files, which breaks it? I'll be happy to help you with it. It'll be easier for me if your application is Linux based, but I should be able to handle it with Windows as well. Regards
