I would be able to create you the Gannt chart two ways, without using VBA if you would be willing to change the style of the chart, e.g Diamonds to Squares. This would be the way I'd recommend as you don't have worry about the user having macros enabled for the sheet to work etc. but I can also do it any other way that you require too.
