Hi
To be honest I didn't worked with Borland C++ for 7 years. As you obviously know Borland went bankrupt about 10 years ago and there was no one asking to develop new things on Borland, only to maintain old ones.
As for Interbase I have brief experience in latest version of Interbase again using during old C application maintenance.
My background in Borland C++ is that I developed hydro power plant management platform which was managing all major operations (start, shutdown, shutting valves, transformer regulations) it was logging all important data real-time int SQL92 compatible database.
After that I developed GSM application for security company. The company had about 3000 objects with GSM/GPRS alarm systems(Motion detection, fire alarm, door alarm etc.). My program was consolidating those in one modem and it had a searchable dashboard, it was sending SMS commands to concrete alarms and paying bills for each GSM/GPRS modem.
Please provide more information about Borland C++ version, your project, new features to add and database to update.
Thanks for your attention
