Have an issue with one of our Shopify sites that our current developer cannot fathom. So looking for super smart dev to get to the bottom of this issue. We have two review apps on all our sites, one we pay for and the generic Shopify reviews app (which we didn't specifically add in, think it was just there anyway).
On only one of our stores, both apps are visible on the front end. No one can figure out why they are both showing up. Problem is, we don't know which one is pushing the reviews to Google Shopping. So we haven't wanted to remove either one, since we have worked so hard to get the reviews showing up on Google and now they are! We need someone to research why they are both visible and to remove one - but only when 100% sure that the one that is being removed is NOT the one pushing the reviews through to google. We also have another app on that store called JSON-LD which optimises the store for google snippets amongst other SEO things. I have asked the dev of that app if he knows if his app has anything to do with the replication or can he tell which app is pushing the stars to Google shopping and while he has responded to my questions, I need someone who is more technical to translate his response and possibly act on it.
