Legal research
$30-250 USD
Paid on delivery
We need some legal research conducted on statutory damage awards (under 17 U.S.C. s 504(c)) in U.S. federal courts in the 7th Circuit going back to 1976. Basically, we want a list comprising:
- type of work at issue;
- statutory damage awarded per work;
- whether infringement was determined to be willful; and
- case citation (e.g., Jackson v. Diaz, 735 F.3d 112 (N.D. Il 2015)).
This project will require legal research experience and WestLaw, LexisNexis, or similar legal database access. Google Scholar will almost certainly not be sufficient.
