A student is required to search and write about a real-life business combination case and discuss the motives, impact, and results of such combination. Requirements: - Pre-Starting: (how can I start?) A student • must pick a public company (local or international) _ each student has a different company. Note that the company is a holding (parent) company. • must post her chosen company on the discussion board (on Blackboard) _ First come First served. • is not allowed to change her chosen company - Post-starting: (what the paper about?) A student must cover all topics mentioned below: • Provide a brief background of the companies involved in the business combination case chosen. • Discuss in details the motives, impact, and financial results of such combination. • Support the paper with graphs and explanation about how investor discloses such combination in the financial statements. • Connect the information in the paper with what have been covered throughout the semester.
