Hi, I am interesting to your project as I saw the image you attached Tesseract doesn't work well in your case, tessseract works well in the case of grayscale and simple image. Hello, Dear. I have checked attached image. Did you check reason why your algorithm accuracy is low? To increase accuracy, at first, we need to detect nameplate area precisely. To do it, I will use tensorflow. it's accuracy is very high. And tensorflow supply best solution for number recognition. Finally, i suggest tensorflow for your project, and i will assist you. I could try this, and it surely will involve other libraries. But I don't think it's a problem. It should be easy with Python.
