I have prepared text from my company's brochure (I provide leadership development trainings and coaching in the UK). My current website is leadct.co.uk. I am looking for a native British English speaker with experience in proof reading to go through the document to make sure the english, grammar and punctuation are all in order. The word count in the document is 3410 and I need it done in by end of day Wednesday 11th of July . I believe the document in already in good shape , my English is rather good , or so I think (after all I have written a dissertation and several essays in philosophy)! I think it would be useful if I say what I am exactly looking for: I am not looking for any major re-writing, only consider punctuations, grammar and choice of words if you think they are not a good choice. If you find some sentences that perhaps it sis best if they are re-written or restructured (if they are too long or difficult to comprehend for example) I appreciate if you can point them out and suggest an alternative. The length of text in each page is carefully decided upon to fit in the brochure format along with graphics I am using. So to avoid designing the layout and graphic I am really not looking for increase in word-count. A few of words here and there could be fine but ideally not much more. This will hopefully make it less taxing for you too! To make it easier for you I have hilighted a few words in the document in red that might need more attention to make sure they are Ok. I want the document back in track changes so that I can clearly see what has changed. After you send me the documents I want to be able to speak with you briefly about your proposed changes before finalising it over the phone. So please have a UK phone number. I might need to also to speak to you very briefly before I award the project to you. I might not manage to make a decision about who to award this project to before Saturday 2 PM as I will be quite bust until Saturday morning. I have other copy editing jobs in pipeline for future as I build my new website and prepare my training materials etc so if it works well on this assignment you will have an advantage for future ones.
