Background: Built the website myself using Wordpress and a purchased template. Template has not been supported by developers so has lost functionality as Wordpress has updated. I now understand this is common practice. The website is small ~10-15 pages. contains parallax, sliders, photo galleries and a contact form. Pretty simple. The Job: Transition my website from current template to an open-source community supported one so this issue does not reoccur. Preserve current look and functionality. Streamline plugins and so forth. Ensure the website runs smoothly and loads fast. Requirements: Solid understanding of wordpress and the options to fix this issue. This is not a straight template change as i could do that myself. Understand webhosting and permissions. Broad knowledge of available plugins and how they are best deployed. Understand on-page SEO Knowledge of adwords to help set up goals from advertising I am not interested in a large company with high fees and a lot of empty promises. I would prefer to work with an individual with the required skillset who will work on my website like it is their own. For the right person there will be on-going work as my go-to person.
