I sell chatroom subscriptions currently using Wordpress and a chat plugin. I want to start using Slack for my paid chatroom, instead of the Wordpress plugin.

Therefore I see one of two options to allow me to do this... (unless you have a better idea)

#1 - When a user purchases a chatroom subscription on my Wordpress site, a Slack notification is automatically sent that invites them to the "members only" chatroom. Note, the invitation is only sent after confirmation of successful registration/payment on the Wordpress subscription page.

or

#2 - When a user purchases a chatroom subscription on my Wordpress site, a Slack membership is automatically created for them matching the credentials used on the Wordpress site.

Let me know your thoughts and the easiest way using either API, Webhooks, etc.
