Wordpress Plugin and Theme Modifications - Senior Developers Only

*** Only Accepting Freelancers from North America and Europe at this Time *** Job Description: We are looking for a long term relationship with an experienced full stack developer or development team to help manage a series of WordPress based sites utilizing our custom plugin. The work will require front-end and back-end experience so you will either need to be a full stack developer or a team. A signed NDA is a requirement before beginning work. You or the team’s project manager must be readily available via skype during the course of the project. Responsibilities: -Add additional features to existing WordPress plugin -Ensure WordPress core and plugins are routinely updated -Manage site migrations (dev, staging, production) - Review business requirements while working with team members - Perform a technical analysis of requirements - Produce a solid, detailed technical design - Write clean, modular, robust code to implement the desired requirements with little or no supervision - Troubleshooting website and technology issues across our managed platforms, including WordPress, Linux, LEMP stack - Contribute ideas for making the application better and easier to use - Use GIT code repository for releasing code -Document code contributions in easy to understand language -New coding for our existing themes, new coding for plugins, work with existing plugins, and third party integrations -Updating and maintenance of code across our network of websites -Testing new website code prior to deployment Qualifications: - Vast experience working on WordPress plugin development -2 years minimum PHP & MySQL development experience, including object-oriented PHP -Development expertise with custom post types, custom fields, plug-ins, theme development, and WordPress database structure knowledge -Experience transferring data through endpoints using APIs -Adept with Nginx, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, JSON, HTML, and CSS -Understanding of WordPress shortcodes, functions, and the loop -Strong interpersonal and communication skills -Flexibility regarding changing priorities and the ability to meet deadlines -Highly motivated to complete projects -Experience with Git (please send link to your GitHub profile) -Has developed or modified WordPress plugins - A work style that is extremely detail oriented - Strong communication skills. You must be fluent in English - A complete profile with a history of developing WordPress plugins - References or an established reputation
