Hi I am a database expert with 15 years experience in handling MS SQL databases. I have worked as DBA for large ERP databases and use to write and do performance tuning for SQL queries, procedures and triggers. what we could do is to parse each character in each row of the phone number field and if it is not in 0 to 9 then replace it with empty space. Would you like to keep the data as such and write a function to always return the data without characters? Or you like to replace the data? Either way is fine, I can do this at the mentioned budget. Project Description I need an sql query that will format all phone numbers in a table column and remove any characters(parentheses, dashes, and dots), and leave only numbers. I think there's 2 tables this needs to be done in.
