I currently have a blog site that runs on PHP / MySQL, and I would like to start including a piece of code into certain blog posts that displays hotel information from the destinations that
are mentioned in the blog post.
The goal here is to be able to include a *simple* piece of code, without having to define too many variables, and have the majority of the work being done server side.
Essentially what I'm trying to do is include a relatively simple piece of code in the blog post (manually), but have that code be automatically replaced with the HTML that I want,
based on a few variables that are set in the code.
At this point, I'm not entirely sure if what I want to do is even possible.
My thought was that perhaps something to do with AJAX, jQuery, Javascript would work, but I'm not entirely sure.

I just need to be convinced that what I'm looking to do is possible.
