Hello, I am interested in getting a script written to run under Centos (Linux) which scans an ical file, and at a set time before the scheduled events in the ical file executes a command line command. ical files are written from another software package every 5 minutes. This software must collect files, scan then to find out what calendar events are scheduled, and then 15 minutes (or at a time we choose) before the event execute a command line command that we specify. As an example, the ical file has a calendar event which starts at 7pm. At 6:45pm the system executes a command as root such as "ls" or whatever we choose. There will be around 7 different ical files being updated daily. Each ical file will execute a different command line command. Looking for someone who can assist with this project. I have previously had this system built but unfortunately the developer could not complete it satisfactorily. I will be able to provide their software to assist with your design. Thanks

Right now i'm working with PHP doing back end/API's using a lot of OOP and packages. As for the first step I would like to discuss some details with you such as: - where will we collect the files? - do you want the command output? - and more... I'm planning to have a config file where you will setup the command to execute for each ical file with the possibility to add as many ical files as you wish with specifying the file path. Planing to using composer. We will need you to add an entry on crontab (or any other ). Plus, i won't accept any money if you're not happy at the end. Thank you for considering my proposal.
