Programming for e-commerce portal

Scope of work: The scope of work is the back-end development for an e-commerce portal, based on the existing front-end development. This project is a part of the “Ecommerce website trial project”, which was posted in October 2016. Therefore, all requirements outlined in the RFT document which relate to back-end development shall apply. Where necessary the developer shall alter or complete the existing front-end development to make the pages work seamlessly. Deliverables by employer at start of the project: Files of front-end development (e.g. html, CSS) Deliverables by freelancer before final payment: All files created and necessary under the project as well as instructions, so that the employer can deploy the website himself on his server. Copyright: The employer retains the design rights and other intellectual property rights and copyrights of all documents prepared by the employer. Only the nominated freelancer shall be entitled to use them or copy them only for the project and the purpose for which they are intended. The freelancer must not infringe any intellectual property rights in performance of the services. The freelancer has to procure the rights for the website content (e.g. graphs, fonts) he is using on this pages. The freelancer has to make sure that the copyright to the page content and design will automatically be passed to the employer upon payment, along with licenses for more generic code or modules that the freelancer may build or used. The freelancer has no right to be credited for the work on the pages or to use the pages as a reference. Confidentiality: The freelancer must treat as confidential all information and content received and created under the agreement; and all other information which of its nature is confidential or which the freelancer ought reasonably to know is confidential. The freelancer must not publish or enable others to publish any information in connection with the Services without the prior written consent of the employer. The freelancer must ensure that its officers, employees, agents and subcontractors comply with the freelancers's obligations above.
