Just need to have 2 basic depth answers to the questions, nothing major just haven't got time to help out a friend who's stuck teaching him self,
the questions are
1) Explain the importance of buffering with regards to stream I/O and outline the problems it resolves and the issues it introduces based on the need for efficiency, robustness and transparent data handling.
2) In order to achieve scalability a remote server must keep track of multiple concurrent client connections and service them appropriately. Explain, using suitable schematic(s) and commentary, how this is achieved. Specific reference to the I/O operations performed by the Socket and ServerSocket class in Java can used to evidence the commentary.
