Fix Cubecart Jquery issue

Hi folks! I have a script to do age verification((I found from here) which I've managed to partially implement into CubeCart 6. I am using the minimaliser skin and editing [login to view URL] to add this. I've also added the required css and js files into their relevant folders. The script calls upon the following in the heading: <link href="[login to view URL]" rel="stylesheet"> <link href="{$STORE_URL}/skins/{$SKIN_FOLDER}/css/[login to view URL]" rel="stylesheet"> Then before the closing body it also calls: <script src="[login to view URL]"></script> <script src="[login to view URL]"></script> <script src="{$STORE_URL}/skins/{$SKIN_FOLDER}/js/[login to view URL]"></script> Now, I am no expert - my knowledge is what I've picked up - I know CC uses jQuery(as does the skin) the script works fine BUT: - I lose the basket modal - if I click the basket I don't get the checkout/view basket popout - I also lose the 'Add to basket button' (although it's back now oddly) - The css is a little thrown off, but not drastically I get this error in console: [Error] TypeError: $('input[type=radio].rating').rating is not a function. (In '$('input[type=radio].rating').rating({         required: true     })', '$('input[type=radio].rating').rating' is undefined)     (anonymous function) ([login to view URL])     k ([login to view URL]:22331)     fireWith ([login to view URL]:23139)     ready ([login to view URL]:24945)     g ([login to view URL]:954) if I remove the jQuery-2.1.1 script source the modal for the age verification won't fadeOut - it almost like it starts to but stops and stays over the page content. I know this must be some sort of modal conflict going on but I am a little confused how to fix it.i am certain it would be such a quick simple fix but my knowledge of CubeCart and its workings is limited I don't see this as a big job and would like someone able to help right away today.
