In advance; I will say that I am not even sure if this can be done.
We have a current working web site that runs on an old PHP version (5.2.17) on a Plesk Onyx server, with everything up to date. The server has installed and runs fine different PHP versions on different domains.
We want to move a Wordpress blog that is currently on a different domain to the same domain, on the /blog directory, and for this we need to be able to run PHP 5.2.17 on the root folder (/) and PHP 7.1.26 on the /blog folder.
Please only bid if you already know how to do this; or you can test on your own server and are able to get it working. NO remote access will be given to the server, if it an easy solution (like with .htaccess) that will be enough; otherwise I can give Teamviewer access to a machine so anything can be done on the server without handing out passwords.
Server is running Plesk Onyx, Version 17.8.11 Update #37

Hello,
The PHP version that is selected for a domain is applied to all sub-directories under /var/www/vhosts/example.com. However, you can run different version by making Sub domains.
I am an eperienced system admin and programmer. I am also running a hosting company for last 6 years. My hosting company name is Flopv Hosting.
Hello,
I am a tech enthusiast and have been managing servers since I was 14.
Using multiple versions of PHP on one server isn't that uncommon.
Since you need to do this on folder level under same domain, we will need PHP-FPM for this. mod_php cannot do this (don't worry we can switch with no issues).
Then we can use htaccess to accomplish this.
Plz lemme know if u are interested and I'll be more than happy to do this for you.
P.S. I am new on this site and am only looking to make my reputation for now so I am extremely high value for money. ;)
Best regards,
Umer
