Right now I'm having over 80 million records (email, firstname, lastname, optin info, optin date, optin URL, city, state, zipcode, phone ,etc). All of them are in csv and txt format. I would like to build a data management system (frontend run via web, PHP and Laravel, backend via either MariaDB or mongoDB, something that's scalable in case I need to add more servers later) that can help me manage my data better. Some functions I have in mind are
1) I can create/edit/delete/export/merge a "List"
2) I would like to be able to import the files to that "List" via the web, and the system will dedup => import only the records that don't exist in the system (primary key will be emailed) => show me the details
3) During the import, it will automatically mark the email as "Hardbounce" / "Never Mail" if it found the email existed in those 2 tables from the database. If not, the status will be "Active"
4) I would like to be able to segment a "List" or "Lists" from certain conditions, such as
"Email", "State","City","Zipcode","Status"
"Like","Equal","Not Equal","Not Exist In List"
After the segmentation, I would like to be able to either save it as a new List or Export it.
As far as the infrastructure goes, it must:
1) Scalable, I want to be able to expand the number of servers to store the DB
2) Compartmented, I want the frontend and backend separately, the front end can run on a VPS if it must.
3) Front end must be written in PHP, the framework can be Laravel-framework.
4) Documented, I want to be able to re-setup the whole thing myself in case something happens that cause the whole system to crash.
This is an on-going project as there will be more features being added/upgrade/ or remove completely. Make sure you add enough comments in there to help with the process.
