Need to modify a WordPress plugin (mapifypro) which is built off [login to view URL] using openstreetmaps (not google maps). Changes: Currently map opens and is set to a particular center and zoom. Markers appear on map. Some markers may be off the map which is fine as there is a broad area. [login to view URL] Task 1: The list of locations on the right side needs to be sorted by distance from map center on page load. This does NOT need to automatically update when user moves the map around, but should be correct on page load. Task 2: User inputs a new search and the right side list IS appropriately in order of distance from search input (so this works), but the zoom level changes and ideally that should NOT happen. It should just move the map to the new center and show markers nearby and keep the sorted list.

Hello . . First I want to let you know that this kind of customization most likely require direct customize over the plugin which is usually disliked because the changes would be gone once the plugin is updated. Unless the plugin developer allows several extensions for their features :) The good news that their map script is unminified version and map instances are accessible from other script. So if we intend to make some important changes without touching the js, it's still possible. You could check the instances from your browser ( on tab which contains the map ) by typing : javascript:alert([login to view URL][0]); That where the map object saved, and I think that what we need to make these customizations.
