I propose setting up a custom form for you to fill in which would take in all of the quote information. This could then lookup based on generic defaults or customer based defaults a calculated price. The quote could be viewed in a formal layout (company header, footer, contact information and quote details). This could be saved as a separate file (to be sent to customer) or printed. Each quote would be saved on a separate sheet with a unique ID so that they can be recalled and viewed again. First step would be talking through all of the fields you need to collect information on. Seeing any of your current quotes would also help.I would then need time to go away and set this up. The timescale would be based on how complex the quote, but I would get a working prototype back to you within a week of us discussing the requirements. I have extensive experience in Excel and have been customising interfaces for an in-house software solution for the past 3 years. It is fairly similar to a project I worked on in the past so I am very confident I can complete this to your expectations and hopefully can surpass these and provide functionality that you have not thought of yet.
