It's really very tough job to upgrade the PHP from 5.x to 7.x I just did this in december for one of my big application. In php 5.x - it has mysql. and in php 7.x - it's all mysqli. So this is the biggest challenge to upgrade. Let's have a chat if You want me to work with You.
