I am a researcher at a university and plan to conduct a study implementing a cordova-Android-app based on experience sampler templates ([login to view URL]). Participants answer a couple of questions several times a day for 14-21 days. In addition I want to gather data from the smartphone sensors as well (gyroscope, orientation, accelerometer). I started adapting the sample javascript files from the website and built a debug- and release-version of the app with cordova. It works mostly on an emulator but does have some problems on actual devices (error when posting data via ajax to a PERL-Script). Furthermore I would like to assess sensor data from the smartphone and include it in the ajax-posts, which I was not able to implement by now. The tasks for the job are: - Fix the ajax-posting problem (illegal invocation error) - Implement the sensordata-assessment into the javascript code and the post to the server The sample-js-file that gathers the variables and posts them to a server is attached (not my own version).
