HI this could be just not the server side but also the wordpress side too. Because you must running un optmized quries which make the server load very high and your mysql server must be getting busy because of that and long queries may results in down the mysql server and thats y you are getting timeout issue. First we have to fix the site and identity the php quires that make the server load high. We can do this with php profiler. Then implement a cache system this way we can reduce the load to server. Then we have to add indexes to tables to make sure the data are load faster. Thank you

Hello! My bid is for the following procedures, that will fix your problem: - Check the server configuration to see if everything is right on the hardware, that involves checking smart errors mostly and some log files. - Check the operating system, the CentOS, if everything is well setup and any errors is coming up, also check if the filesystem is too busy leading to problems with the database. - Next will check the database for the queries, maybe you got a not optimized table, some missing indexes or maybe the queries are badly written leading to filesorts and stuff like that. - Will also check the webserver and php structure, but by your brief it may not be the problem. I don't think so, since 10k visitor per day is not that much for a server like this, but it may be possible that the hardware can't handle, in this case will help you with the server migration and choice within this project context, with no extra charge. Most improvement will be seen at first hours, but will need some time to fine tune the server since some symptoms only show when there's a high load.
