I am setting up a magento store and need some customization when calculating prices. My store will sell printed items like business cards, postcards and brochures. Right now I am creating simple products using the extension found at [login to view URL] I need to program in an option that will allow me to multiply the calculated price by a percentage. I want to add a select box where the person can select the service they would like. For example: Regular = 100% multiply price by 100% (so no change in price) Rush = 135% multiple price by 135% ( so price x 1.35) Super Rush = 150% multiply price by 150% ( so price x 1.5) This select box can go as the very last option if needed. Not all products will make use of this select box. I would like to use a custom attribute. Test for the existence of the attribute and if it exists then show the select box. Preferably I would like to be able to enter an array into the attribute field for the option text and value. something like: Regular:100, Rush:135, Super Rush:150

Hi, I understood what you want exactly. That's great idea to use custom attributes. You will add the option in this format "option_name1:percentage1,option_name2:percentage2,option_name3:percentage3" and if that attribute is not blank than it will override the actual price and calculate new price based on that percentage. Does that make sense? I'm ready for further discussion. Thanks
