551729 Permanent Web Designer & Programmer

INTRODUCTION We are seeking an eager, dedicated individual, experienced in graphic design & web development to join our ranks here at our fast growing UK based web design company on a permanent basis. This role is aimed at a programmer/designer who is looking to secure regular income from building and developing websites. If you are looking for regular guaranteed weekly income then this is the ideal job for you. The nature of the hours on offer mean you should still have adequate time to work your other projects around us but as an expectation, during the hours we set, we expect to be the sole focus of your work. The first two weeks will be slightly reduced pay ($50) while we trial you with following months subject to both pay and hourly increases. As we grow, we have more work to provide you and if you can do a good job, we're more likely to provide more! A win, win situation. 16 hours @ $5 an hour $320 per month $80 paid weekly EXPECTATIONS Communication is key, and we will be using our main source of communication via Skype, you are expected to be online during the full duration of the hours we set. We are putting you in a position of trust and you are expected to work during the hours set. If we feel at any point you are underperforming / working slowly during these hours we will simply find someone else. Understanding and speaking English effectively is a must. We don't want to have to wait 5-10 minutes for you to reply with one sentence. Hours and days are flexible and negotiable; we will set a diary at the beginning of each week with you. We will set out by Skype before you are due to start work what you will be doing that particular day. You MUST provide reports of the tasks you have done each day as soon as you have completed them. If we do not have anything for you to do that day you will STILL get paid as long as you were available for work that day. All work we undertake must be original, no copyright or stealing images we do not have permission to use. SKILLS The following skills are simply a must. You will be asked to demonstrate one or two of these skills before we take you on. During your application please provide at least one example of previous work whereby you have undertaken any of these skills. PHP HTML CSS Flash (optional) JavaScript (optional) Graphic Design (promotional artwork) Web Development (creating add-ons, plugins, tools) Programming EXPERIENCE / EXAMPLE WORK We are working mainly with open source software so example work / experience of such is a great bonus. You will be expected to create additional modules within these open source software so we are seeking an advanced developer, someone who can provide they have done this sort of thing before. The open source software we use is: Wordpress TomatoCart (Very similar to OScommerce) You must be able to demonstrate previous work.
