Aloha -- ....NEW TEXT START......the data guy needs me to finance this myself first.....so that causes a problem..... i can't pay $1000 ........please post a starting bid below $500.... there is lots more work to come from me.... i need to build lots of sites.....all of them extreemly similar so it must be inexpensive to build one site.... as far as my non action ratio goes....yes i am not geting any help with this clunky RAC interface and yet they want to take 10 -15 percent out of my budget....its hard to swallow....i will be checking out another coder site if this does not work............END NEW TEXT I need to build a community site, well actually several community sites, but lets start with one. I am working for one of the largest buyers and sellers of data in theentire USA on this project. We are going to use his data to send out emails to people to get them to join our web 2.0 Interactive community(IC). We will need to have some easy way to make a copy of the site and set it up on another server with another hosting company should we get shut down for spamming. please read the rest of the description in deliverables........BACK UP PLAN ELIMINATED ## Deliverables This site must look good. Even the custom built member areas, i have seen the big companies out there doing this type of thing and i am not impressed with the member pages at all. [login to view URL] looks like a ten year old found frontpage and was making their first website ever. When i say looking good i am not talking about flashy sites with all sorts of heavy graphic pages and stuff that webmasters think is cool. I am talking about a page that looks like it was actually built by a good webmasterwith proper navigation and formatting and backgrounds that look good and don't cover the text of of the page so you cant read some of the text. If we need to limit users choices as far as customizing there pages then that is fine. as long as they can still add as much text and pictures as they want. I want to use best practice for each part of the members pages. in the picture area, set it up like sites that specialize in pictures only with thumbnails that don't blur the picture and are large enough that many people will not need to look at the full picture, but then also allow people to click on the thumbs and look at the full picture however big it is. The site should have all or most of the newest web 2.0 features, especially relating to personalization and marketing. obviously the winner of this project is going to have to list all the features that will be on the site that they will build. I would also like to see a web 2.0 site that they have built even if it does not have all of the features that will be included in the links. My boss on this project would like to keep the cost down to start with and so if there are some features that you think might be good on this IC (interactive community) but they will raise the cost a lot then please list them on an ala carte basis where we can choose which ones we want to have based on the price of each individual item. The below links may take a while to check out, BUT for anybody who is seriously into building web 2.0 and IC then I am SURE you will find value from them <[login to view URL]> - pdf slides 8 mb with good info on features of a web 2.0 site and much more. Start reading on page 7. [[login to view URL]][1]the main IC of the person who produced these slides. <[login to view URL]> 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. Aloha I am looking for someone to work with me on this project to build a ton of web 2.0 sites to sell for profit. First we build the sites then I will send traffic to them then later, we will sell some of the sites to make a good profit for the designers and then continue to build more sites paying the designers cash for the jobs at this point. As i understand these sites are extreemly maintence intensive, and I want a company that would like to handle everything as far as maintence of the site and improvements in the future. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Thursday Nov 1, 2007 1:10:21 AM: I will also be needing a team of editors and moderators to monitor the IC and make sure it is a polite IC that behaves and follows instructions. This of course will probably be a completly seperate project. * * *This broadcast message was sent to all bidders on Thursday Nov 1, 2007 2:21:42 AM: a little picture story of a lifestyle that i acheieved 100 percent working at home on the web.
