NOTICE ONE: THIS IS AN URGENT JOB REQUIREMENT SO PLEASE DO NOT BID ON THIS PROJECT UNLESS YOU HAVE OSCOMMERCE EXPERIENCE. PLEASE ONLY BID IF YOU CAN COMPLETE BY END OF DAY 3 OF BEING SELECTED - DO NOT WASTE MY TIME. NOTICE TWO: UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES DO I WANT BIDS FROM 'COMPANIES' OR GROUPS. I AM LOOKING FOR A PROGRAMMER THAT WORKS BY HIMSELF/HERSELF. Now that only serious programmers are reading this job after getting past the above notices, I can explain what the job is about. All oscommerce emails go out as plain text by default. Many people add a HTML editor such as FCKeditor or tinyMCE and send out HTML emails from admin area or add it to the admin/newsletter set-up. Others have added contributions such as uHTML emails (which incidently i did too but I do not like it). Here is how the stock RC2 newsletter from admin works. You create a newsletter and save it. You can go back and view and edit it if you wish. You can add tinyMCE or alike to it and see exactly what your HTML emails will look like when received in your customers hotmail/gmail/yahoo inboxes. When you are ready to send it, you go to admin area and press 'send'. Simple. What I want is to create a page just like the admin/[login to view URL] called admin/[login to view URL] and want to be able to create a HTML page using tinyMCE which will have a logo at the top and info at the footer as standard template for ALL outgoing emails. This means when customers create an account, when admin updates order status, when admin/[login to view URL] is used as well as when customers place a new order. All stock RC2 information like orders placed email info and forgot password email info etc etc will still be received by customers BUT in HTML format using the [login to view URL] file as a basis for the design. If you do not understand by now what the job requirement is then please do not bid and do not post a message on the board because I cannot make it any more clearer than I already have, so do not waste my time. If you do know what the job entails and are willing to complete it on a fresh RC2 install then please do not bid more than $100. Anyone placing bids of more than $100 will be deleted and banned from placing bids on my future projects. I can escrow the money immediately upon selecting you but will allow for up to 3 days for completion of work for something that should not take a knowledgable programmer more than 3 hours. I will escrow $100 upon selcting you and give you a $25 bonus if you complete within 12 hours of being selected, or $10 bonus if you complete after 12 hours but before 24 hours of being selected. If completed after 24 hours and before 36 means no bonus and finally, if the work is not completed before 36 hours of being selected then the escrow will be cancelled. If all goes well and the selected programmer can deliver then there is much more oscommerce work available on a regular basis.
