We are looking for several items to be done:
1) Create a new template for Magento using our design (We designed it in Adobe InDesign and can provide the InDesign, Illustrator (EPS) or Photoshop file). We only need you to take our design file and create the template. No designing is needed from you. I have attached a rough draft of how the site would look...we are still working on this a little, but I wanted you to get an idea. We already have the slideshow extension installed for the home page. You will see four other "still images" on the home page...these need to be able to be changed out easily using the Magento Admin Panel. Also, we have a dropdown menu installed already - this will need to be on the new site.
2) Create a new template for our Wordpress blog using our design. Current blog: [login to view URL]
Here is a rough draft mock-up of the blog. [login to view URL]
3) Upgrade Magento to the latest, stable version (1.6.1.0). We currently use 1.4.1.1. Our current site is very customized due to an abandoned project we were trying to create with a flash editor. We are no longer using that and can just transfer the site data to the new template. This should not be hard...correct? Since you are creating a new template for us, you should be able to install the latest version of Magento and then create the template and then transfer over our database of products and images, etc. Any extensions installed currently that we still use will need to be installed on the new version. There are not a lot, but there are some.
4) We have a very simple page for submitting proofs of our personalized products to our customers. We just need a few code changes to this which I do not think will be difficult at all. Right now, we upload photos on this page and include the customer's name, order ID and a note and then we press submit. The customer receives an email with a link to click on and it takes them to the proofing site where they can select if they approve their proof of their personalized product or if we need to make changes to their proof. None of that will change...we just want you to change a few small items like adding the order ID that we type into a current field into the email subject line. And having the note that we type into the current note field to show up only once instead of for every proof. We would also want the new template to be used on this page as well.
