I would like to take the usb output from a magnetic card reader, which normally has keyboard emulation, and store this information on a micro SD card. The magnetic reader is powered via usb, so it would need to split off the power and data most likely. The chain is most likely as follows- card reader usb data output->microcontroller->sd card. Coding would likely be PIC32 or MSP430 style for the microcontroller and whatever code required to transfer the data to the SD card. I wouldn't think this would take very long to do based on the code I have seen for other similiar projects...I am basically marrying two projects, but have no clue how to make the code work together. I have links to the pages that better explain the ideas, and would welcome icq/yahoo/etc messenger conversations to get things in order.
