The program will perform as follows : A Cobol program will send a command line call to a .exe, which this program will be. Once it receives a call it will perform one of the follow operations View - This will simply bring up the SQL database using filling in each field using a form that Activar will provide to the programmer. Add - Add a different Stock Code And Operation to the SQL table. Move - Move the Stock Code And Operation to another operation. An example: If there are 4 operations and we choose to move operation number 1 to 4 the program would behave as follows 2 become 1, 3 becomes 2, 4 becomes 3, and 1 becomes 4. Delete - The stock code and operation will be deleted from the SQL database. In addition to the above functions the programmers will make all buttons into an array- This will allow for operations to look clean to the user, i.e. if the user enters into a add mode, the only button that shows is the New button. The programmer will also make the sequence side of the program work. This sequence side is a separate SQL table on the same form that Activar has provided. It will do the following items, Add Delete Move Change This will perform in nature as the above descriptions.
