We want to make a trading web site that is basically a clone of <[url removed, login to view]>.

Please see Deliverables below for a detailed description of what we need.

Work phases:

* Phase 1: Front-end development - Within the 1st week, a dummy <[url removed, login to view]> home page clone must be done.

* Phase 2: Back-end development - Within the 8th to 21st day all the back-end logic must be developed.

* Phase 3: Testing: Once phase 2 is completed, we will need 1 month for testing the function correctness of the web site. The coder will be required to fix any bug discovered in this period.

***** Web/graphic design is not required. Just follow everything <[url removed, login to view]> has. *****

## Deliverables

Core requirements are:

1. The web site should be similar to osCommerce (category-based product browsing, what's hot, latest updated products, best selling products, etc), with an important extra function: users can register as a merchant and put products to the web site for sale.

2. 5 user roles required: 1) guest (anonymous user), 2) buyer, 3) merchant, 4) premium merchant, 5) administrator.

3. Guests can browse products page, but will be prompted to login/register when they checkout.

4. Buyers are (free) registered users. Buyers can browse products page, and checkout products in their shopping cart.

5. Merchants are (free) registered users. Merchants can add products on the web site for sale, with limitations including but not limited to the maximum number of products for sale.

6. Premium merchants are merchants that are registered and upgraded to premium grade (for a service charge). No limitation applies to premium merchants.

Additional requirements are:

1. The web site must be written in PHP 4.

2. You can use any open source projects, e.g. Xoops, Drupal, Wordpress, etc.

3. The web site theme must be easy to modify, i.e. edit static text on home page/product page, change of colors, change of images, etc.

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
