We used a blog at oursite/blog. The site is moving to Joomla. We want to integrate the old blog with the new site.

I installed jd-wordpress in joomla. Of course jd-wordpress installs its own tables and pulls data from these tables. I already get a lot of traffic to my current blog directory and i do not want to loose it.

1- Can you make the component jd-wordpress point to the old blog? That means that I will continue using my old installation of word press and just pull the data to be displayed in joomla.

2- The latest module only pulls items from content items on joomla. I need it to pull items from our blog as well.

How long will it take to finish the prject? Do you have any recommendation of another way to complete it?
