This is a simple market research data entry project.? It involves visiting 20 Clothing eCommerce sites (in UK and US), and capturing information on the products they sell in a very specifc market niche.

About 25 fields of? information on each product need to be captured for each product (i.e. product name, style, fabric, texture, colour, price etc).? ? We will provide a list of these information sets, and the categorisation we want used for each (i.e. definition of styles, list of colours etc).
The product range on these websites varies from 10-150, but the expect the average to be c50 per eCommerce site.? For cost sizing considerations consider the number of product items? to be detailed to be 1,000.? If the number of products per site is above 1,000 we will either cap the project at 1,000; or if we are both agreeable increase the price at a pro-rated amount (i.e. 1,250 products increases the agreed price by 25%).? If the number of products on the 40 sites is less than 1,000 we will pay the full agreed amount.
We will provide a simiple excel capture sheet, full definitions, and the eCommerce sites to be researched.? You can use this or? something else if you find it easier (Access form?).? ? We want the deliverable in a simple excel spreadsheet or single access table format.
This is for a retail eCommerce start-up, if the project is successful there will probably be more related work available.
## Deliverables
1) Excel spreadsheet (or Access equivalent table) detailing the product ranges of 20 Clothing eCommerce sites (in UK and US).? Each product item in the range will be defined on c25 categories (i.e. product name, style, fabric, texture, colour, price etc) that will be provided.? Not all categories will be relevant to all products.
2)? The costing done on the basis of 1,000 products being defined.? The product range on these websites varies from 10-150, but? the average should be 50 per eCommerce site.? If the number of products per site is above 1,000 the project will either be capped at? 1,000; or if both BUYER and CODER? are? in written agreement increase the price at a pro-rated amount (i.e. 1,250 products increases the agreed price by 25%) upto doubling the price (for 2,000 products).? If the number of products on the 40 sites is less than 1,000 the BUYER? will pay the full agreed amount.
3) The BUYER? expects? the data collection to be done from public websites; with no communication between with the? person doing data entry and the businesses in question.
4) The deliverable data? will be owed completely by the BUYER to analyse and use as they see fit.
