Web based sale - production - planning application

Web-based application for shops selling, producing and installing soft furnishing (curtains, stores, draperies,...). What: - complete customer management - price estimation module (specific submodules for each type:curtain, store, draperies, etc.)(+-10 submodules) - complete workers management - planning module linked with the estimations - workplace module - workplaces management - provider and product management Why and how: - there are several point of sales (shops) - there are several workplaces 1. a customer enters a shop and asks for soft furnishing for his house => the customer is inserted in the system. 2. he wants curtains in his living room => an estimate for these curtains are created. 3. he wants someone to come at his home and measure the exact window measures => an apointment will be placed in the planning. 4. the measurer comes back and modifies the estimate with the exact measures in the system. 5. the customer accepts the order 6. all needed products are ordered at the providers per fax or per mail. (nb: possibility to create grouped orders to avoid shipping costs) 7. delivered products are checked in. 8. when all products needed are delivered by the providers, the work is placed in the planning for a specific workplace 9. when the product is done, installation is planned. 10. further problem or other things are followed up. Customer should be able to have an online follow-up tool. Quite a complex system that should be available in at least 2 languages (dutch & french). THX ! ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working web application in as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement). ## Platform Language: ASP.NET, PHP, JAVA, ... but to be honest I think JAVA is the best: a lot of immediate calculations should be done. Database: MS SQL server, MySQL, ... Best combination is Ok 4 me.
