WinHTTP expirience a Plus This project requires a Visual Basic Class to collect racing data from online racing data providers. Racing data is related to horse and greyhounds only. Web Site is UsOfftrack.com. This site inserts a SID into each link request. When not handled properly, you are redirected to the [login to view URL] page. They ensure that the session is continuous. I would prefer to use the Wininet control or WinHTTP over the WebBrowser control, do to size and reliability. The Website uses frames to segment the presentation of data. Look for Virtual tote on the main page. The left frame “Programs?? contains the tracks offered. When you click on one, the frame “data?? is updated with track name, date, MTP, other current race related links, and a message on whether there is data available or not. When no data is available there is no race today. My first goal is to parse the available tracks to get a current racing schedule, which tracks have races today and when. Secondly, I would like the class to have functions to grab Win Odds, Win pool dollars for each race entrant, Place pool dollars for each race entrant, Show pool dollars for each race entrant, Quinella pool dollars for each race entrant, Exacta pool dollars for each race entrant, Race results with post positions, wager type and dollars paid, and Totals for all pools in the race. This needs to happen every 15 seconds. As you will notice, this information exists on several pages when a race is active. The data can be stored in a collection, so the local app can process it. This may eliminate the number DB connections needed. There may be multiple instances of this class running for each track. This can be discussed. Also, the class must have the option to use proxy servers. A list will be supplied from the calling app. The class, when monitoring a race will have to know when to switch to the next race to collect data. This can be done when current race results are posted and collected. Also, the class needs to know when to stop collecting. This may be a combination of knowing the time of the last race and/or the length of activity without a change. Each page shows the last time of update. The Header info for a page will also reveal this information as well. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows? (depending on the nature? of the deliverables): a)?
