Our company, located in France, organises fundraisings on its website www.animalwebaction.com.
Animal welfare associations and shelters can come to us and ask for help, to finance vital products for the animals: kennels, food and blankets.
To build up the collections, we need to know and understand everything about each shelter, and be able to show many pictures of the current situation and animals gathered : these are highly important to convince our donors and help them perceive the need. Unfortunately, shelters are most of the time handled by volunteers, who don’t always have the opportunity, the time, the means nor the skills to take the pictures we ask for.
In that matter, we are looking for a photographer who would be able to go to a shelter based in Fagaras to take several pictures representing the current situation and ask a few questions about the dogs’ health, the volunteers organisation and so on.
The photographer must feel comfortable being in a shelter surrounded by dogs and/or cats, stay calm and don’t be disturbed so that the job can be done properly: it is absolutely necessary to be used to animal company.
If everything goes well on this project, there could be further opportunities of the same kind for other shelters.
Important : FREELANCER MUST OWN A CAR TO ACCESS THE SHELTER
Hi,
I am Benjamin; Photographer, and I want to take photos of the dog shelter in Fagaras, and I did this before. I still have the orange hoodie. Thanks!
Hi,
Thank you for the invite to this project. I stay close to Fagaras, in a town called Sfintu Gheorghe. In my day job I also work for a news site as a videographer journalist, so I have both the time and the means to go to Fagaras and take great pictures. Interestingly I have a dog, who I found as a puppy not far from there (on a skiing trip) and adopted, so I'm comfortable with having dogs around. I can also make a short video and edit it, put subtitles on it etc, if that would serve the purpose better.
Best Regards and good luck with your important mission,
László
