Have two jobs to fill. One is temporary. The other part-time... to start. They run in tandem. In other words, when we're done with one, we move to the other. They both require the same personality type and so I am posting them together. You are welcome to do one and not the other.
In a nutshell, the job is to help manage me. Me and my thoughts, me and my students, me and my development of a drip campaign depending on the phase. In DISC or TTI language, I need a Cs or Sc leaning towards either D or I. You need to be able to deal with and manage a solid Di or Id depending on the year, or moon, or something I don’t care to figure out.
Expect to have regular, pre-defined check-ins for any independent requests made of you. You want to be an independent starter as I do not micro-manage well and take offense to having to. There will be a couple of hours of prep-work for Job 1 and regular independent work with Job 2.
Both Jobs:
Structured and logical thinking required. “I" dotter type needed.
Familiarity and, more importantly, comfort with the use &/or the idea of the use of:
- a personal computer,
- Dropbox,
- video share,
- GDrive,
- XMind (or other mind mapping tool,)
- Evernote and,
any other tools I/we think of or run across that seem to suit.
Must be willing to sign a non-disclosure, just in case I expose myself.
Willingness to deal with a rather dry and pervasive sense of humor.
Job 1:
About 40 hours.
The work will be weekday morning work hours based on GMT -4.
Intensive, co-designing of the tactics and details (mapping) of a multi-level online (email, landing pages, videos, give-a-ways) drip strategy for my new product launch. I have a ton of copy, headlines, stuff and ideas. I am sitting in a big puddle of it and need help digging out. Then sorting, choosing and putting it in play. Do you have a good shovel and strong back? A keen eye for details?
Marketing/online marketing experience or education beneficial.
Job 2:
Ultimately 30 hours a week, could become 40 if they choose to take on other tasks. To start, likely 3 to 5 hours a week, then doubled, then again. My growth is yours. I plan to have 4 sessions going at once for the first year cycle but we must start somewhere. The work will be weekday work hours if you are in US TZ (generally GMT -4 through -8) and will begin (after training) with 2-hour chunks on Thursdays.
I’m calling this position the Focus Specialist. Online (as in our live sessions and webinars) this person will keep us on task and time, redirecting when we wander and letting us know when we’re running out of time. Offline this person will be in charge of pre and post work. Pre: tools and systems ready. Post: communications, delegations, accountability in place.
This job begins with co-chairing a series of 3 to 4 webinars where I will pitch and we will show how the program works.
Pay for both is hourly. Negotiations based on conversations and assets you bring. You’ll be paid bi-weekly as an independent contractor (I9.)
You will be working in the coaching/consulting field serving predominantly white collar American business owners and managers. You will be supporting the development and execution of a new training product/tool not quite like anything else around... just yet. It's not all that extraordinary either, simply designed for the client's best results. I have been doing this stuff for over 10 years and so I expect success.
I look forward to inquiries!! Thanks for your interest. Kat Nesbit, Executive Advisor, to Business Large & Small
I read your job posting and am quite interested to learn more. It seems like a unique opportunity, and I'd be curious to find out if my skills would be a match for your needs.
I'm an ENFP, and though I wasn't familiar with the DISC personality type, I just took the test and found I'm a S/CD or S/DC. I have a range of experiences from corporate process improvement, project management, loyalty surveys, customer experience management, and sales. One of the things I love about freelancing is helping clients take a jumble of information in their head, listed out on a PowerPoint, or sometimes just an idea that needs to be researched, and helping them to turn it into something useful and productive for their goals.
I would be happy to answer any questions and look forward to the opportunity to work with you.
Best,
Cathy
