I have a Loopback application with a Form that allows the attachment of one or more files to an existing record and sends each one to a specific API REST point written as an extended/custom remoteMethod. From debugging and using the BusBoy module, I can see files are being sent and read by the server. The problem is, I'm unable to write it to the local mongodb using mongoose and gridfs-stram or gridfs-locking-stream. I think the connection isn't being made properly using both localhost and 127.0.0.1.
Solid background with Loopback.
File Upload/Download/Streaming with MongoDB
-Fix or advise and implement an Upload API that saves the file with a set of metadata to a local MongoDB and update relevant models (or data) that the uploaded file is being associated/attached to.
-All uploaded files must be associated to a user and existing item data with their respective ID's.
-Create a download (streaming for videos) API. (i.e. given a URL with some unique terms or id, depending on the type, download the file and/or render it on the page if all possible - images, vides, PDFs, etc.)
-Demo the upload and download features and a review of the code.
All work shall be completed locally on my workstation using Teamviewer.
At bare minimum, the following will be provided in running condition:
