Currently, I have a facility access system built on the raspberry pi. The code uses QR codes and a webcam. I feel this process is overhead intensive and I am looking to reduce the footprint of a facility access system.
I would prefer a system that COULD use a 2d/3d scanner for barcodes/qr codes, but I would also like to use NFC and/or potential HID prox cards.
I would like to use raspberry pi or asus tinkerboards.
My idea is to have a web dashboard with granted access to manage door systems for facilities and doors owned by the user and assign users with specific access to all doors at a facility or a subset of doors at a facility. Additionally, I would like to lock down access to times of day for access users.
Each facility access board (individual pi or tinkerboard) would be identified in the system as a unique door and assigned to a facility with an identifier so we can tell what door this system is installed at.

Your idea want to use Scanner Device with 3d/2d - barcode / Qr code or you want to use with camera like webcam camera? NFC is great choice . what device you use ?
