I'm looking for a feature to develop. please find the details below;
Feature Name: Referral
Dev Stack: Python, PostgreSQL (ideally on Odoo platform as add-on to Odoo). However open for any other dev stack, if that's the case it has to be installed on the server as sub-domain with clear login and authentication.
Requirements:
As an IT SaaS company, we would like to leverage existing clients’ network and encourage existing / potential clients to refer the clients within their social / business network, main platforms; LinkedIn, Facebook, Google (gmail), Other emails.. yahoo, Hotmail etc.
Use case for User:
(Display the page: Claim x % discount (10% Discount) by referring your contacts. Or build regular income with our referral scheme)
Select the platform > Google, Facebook, LinkedIn
Allow to take the permissions to access the contacts of respective selected application
Submit.
Functionality:
 Based on selection (Integrate with the application; Google, yahoo, LinkedIn, Facebook etc)
 Authorisation and System then Export all the contacts (Name, email ID)
 Save in the database against the user
 Email check and Highlight any existing emails in the system. Display the existing emails in the user section
 Select standard Email message template (to create content based on the promotion with variables)
 Send the message to the emails
