"Just a Student Executive" app. SUMMARY OF BUSINESS PLAN A Phone based app that will scan a syllabus. From the syllabus it will take important items like 1) Contact information and office hours 2) Course schedule 3) Grade percentage charts 4) Allow students to access any and all resources one should need within one simple application. and allow a student to be able to have all the information accessible and ready within seconds at the touch of a button. - Goals of the software 1) Can access your teachers contact info to call or email on the drop of a dime for office hour appointments. 2) It will remind you when you have assignments and test coming up based on the course schedule (Will have the ability to be updated in the event of freak weather or class cancelations) 3) After ever class it will send a notification to your phone asking if there has been assignment added and if course schedule is still correct as well as any important notes about that day’s class. (will also ask if you like to add pictures of any important paper notes you took during the class to go back and look over later) 4) If you choose to click an email from the app of a professor a box ill pop up possible reasons and once you select a reason a starter sentence will be generated with your professor’s name for your to professionally contact your professor with a question or concern. Exp: Upcoming test / Making an appointment for office hours / Homework questions / Questions about what was covered in class today /grades / Other “Hello Professor (program inserts professors name), I am in your (inserts your class time and day) and I would like to talk to you about (grades). My specific concern or question is over …….” (you input whatever you need to clarify and add onto generic prompt) 5) (hopeful goal) scan your school email to see if your professor emailed you about canceling class or if school was canceled due to weather. 6) Be compatible with widgets like amazon books, Chegg and other books sellers so that in app you can search a book and buy it directly from the app comparing the lowest prices available. (POTENTIALLY) have a system like Chegg study or course hero where kids can upgrade their membership to be able to post homework or other questions online to be answered. 7) (potentially) Have forums of your school and other college students taking that class for you to ask questions online or communicate. 8) (hopefully partner with schools to get access to their blackboard or d2l) 9) We can also give employers access to post jobs and scholarships to be posted on a forum board. 10) Allow kids to link their social medias and linked in 11) All schedule updates through the app get put into your phones actual calendar with automatic programmed reminders. And we partner with short code companies like 3C interactive to send out text messages.
